My Recent Experience with Dean's Beans

I recently returned from the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, NY, a beautiful, spiritual experience which I highly recommend.

Three meals are served each day in the huge dining hall, which alone is quite a joyful and delicious experience! The meals are mostly vegetarian with optional fish choices served buffet style. The food is organic, grown at the Institute or on the farms in the surrounding community. I loved this dining experience and may post more about it in the future.

This post is about the organic coffee at the Omega Institute that I'm still in awe of. I just recently was able to locate somewhat close to my part of town. While I stayed on campus I drank more coffee than usual. In the dining hall this delicious, organic coffee called, Dean's Beans was available in different varieties (including decaf), brewed in huge containers. I must admit I drank a lot of this coffee during my stay, more than I drink in everyday life. Not only was it delicious, it was very smooth and I never once felt jittery like I do if I drink just a couple of cups of regular coffee. I only felt wonderful.

The Omega Institute has a great cafe available late into the evening where Dean's Beans (and other great menu items, sweets and snacks) can be purchased. I forgot to buy a pound or two of this coffee during my stay and now I know this cafe had the very best prices in New York.

Until my next visit, I did locate some Dean's Beans not too far away from my town. If you are ever interested in a high quality organic coffee, I do recommend this brand. Check here to find some near you and please share your experience!
